You could just take a rest, relax and enjoy the serenity and privacy of Neureum Park, or..
..take a walk on a total of 6 km of bush walking paths that pass through 9 wooded valleys .. in some of them you might find a small piece of remnant rainforest. There are a lot of places where you can sit in the shade and have a rest and enjoy the many different views of Mount Neureum, Kilkivan, Mudlo National Park, Black Snake, and to Boat Mountain near Murgon.
Some walking paths are easy, and some of them are difficult. One will take you up to 220m and with a guide 340m is possible.
During your walks you will probably see a lot of different wildlife, like kangaroos/wallabies (whiptail or pretty-faced, red-necked or Bennet and rock wallaby, probably also pademelon), and many different types of birds e.g. wedge tail eagle, black cockatoos, rainbow lorikeets, etc.
We also have (recently counted in June '24) 4 resident Koalas. We can let you know where they are when you arrive!
For the geologists amongst us there are a lot of different kind of soil types and diverse geology.
A folder showing the walking paths and the degree of difficulty is available in your Villa.
There are a lot of things to do at Neureum Park, but there are also a lot of things to do and to see in the region of The Sunshine Country. We have a list with all things to do, from wineries to day trips, but to give you an idea of the possibilities, we have high lighted some of them below.
